Bo Wilson Band was formed in 1980 by the guitarist and singer
Bo Wilson, bass player Björne Jerlmark, and drummer Abbe Abrahamsson.
They all had the same idea – to play rock music, greatly influenced with the blues.
The bands repertoire was then, and up today, a mix of originals and covers.

Over the years the band members have changed.
Today the band consists of Bo Wilson himself,
drummer Bengt Johnson, and bass player
Steen Lindblom.

The band has released three records;
“Bo Wilson Band”, “Second Hearing”, and “Magic Man”.

“Magic Man” was recorded in the spring of 1996 in Mox Studio,
Copenhagen, Denmark, and in Amptown Studio, Helsingborg,Sweden.
It has recently been re-released, completed with two
new tracks, “Talk is cheap” (Jim Liban) and
“I ain’t superstitious” (Willie Dixon).

Bo Wilson Band is planning a new CD and will start recording at
the end of this year in PON Studios, Hasslarp, just outside of
Helsingborg, in the south of Sweden.
